DESCRIPTION:
Ketorolac Tromethamine is a nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drug which, when administered systemically, has demonstrated analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic activity. The mechanism of its action is thought to be due, in part, to its ability to inhibit prostaglandin biosynthesis.
Each mL contains:
Ketorolac Tromethamine USP 5 mg
Benzalkonium Chloride IP/USNF 0.1 mg
Purified Water IP q.s.
INDICATIONS AND USAGE:
ACULAR ophthalmic solution is indicated for the relief of ocular itching due to seasonal allergic conjunctivitis.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
The recommended dose of ACULAR ophthalmic solution is one drop (0.25mg) four times a day for relief of ocular itching due to seasonal allergic conjunctivitis.
HOW SUPPLIED:
ACULAR ophthalmic solution is available for topical ophthalmic administration as a 0.5% sterile solution, and supplied in a 5 mL plastic dropper bottles. |
